Park for Cheap for TSR Gameday to Help a Great Cause

Updated: August 29, 2013

If you are planning on coming to campus for football games this fall please be sure to come by the TSR Gameday tailgate on ‘The Strip’ across from McDonald’s AND help the Fort Sanders Educational Development Center by using their parking lot all day for only $10.

Fort Sanders is a school which serves children throughout Knox County with a variety of special education needs.

Children aged three to five are offered a partial day program. There is also a Comprehensive Development Classroom serving students aged 6 to 22. This class serves multi-handicapped, medically fragile children whose needs are best met in a specialized setting.

The school is located across the street from Children’s Hospital between Laurel & Clinch Avenue at 501 South 21st Street Knoxville, TN 37916¬†with the parking lot entrance on 22nd Street. The parking lot will be open at 10am this Saturday for parking/tailgating.

This is FSEDC’s best opportunity all year to raise money for the benefit of their students and 100% of the money raised from parking goes to the school. Our goal this year is to supply the school with a digital technology early literacy station.
