Tennessee had 14 mid-term enrollees start classes on Wednesday. It’s an impressive group. Here’s a breakdown of the prospects that have become the latest Volunteers:

OL Dontavius Blair (Anniston, Kansas/Garden City) 6-8 300

Why he’s important

The Vols lose all five starting offensive linemen from last year’s team. Blair is one of the most important prospects in UT’s 2014 class. Blair had scholarship offers from several top schools, including Auburn, Florida State, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Southern California.

When he’ll play

If Blair comes even close to his billing, he’ll play and play early. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him run out with the first team during spring practice. The Vols didn’t just lose their starters. There’s also not allot of experienced linemen behind them either since the starters played extensively throughout their career.
